Academic Research Associate – Salhn

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – SAPOM – Orthopaedic Surgery Total Indicative Remuneration: $105,461 – $111,437, – Full/Time – Contract initially to 31 December 2021, with the possibly of a yearly contract reliant on external funding. – PO3 Academic Research Associate will undertake research in Orthopaedic Upper Limb projects under the direction of the Chief Investigator. You will assist in leading the design and execution of research projects, clinical trials and cadaver workshops. Providing leadership and direction, act as a resource person, mentor within the area based on knowledge, experience and skills for staff and students.A PhD in relevant field is desirable but not essential, a high level of English literacy is required as you will write Ethics proposals for submission, edit and proof read documentation. Experience in research in a relevant medical or health sciences field. You will demonstrate emerging research experience in terms of publications and presentations in relevant field and have experience in qualitative research methodology.You will provide an administration service for the Upper Limb Unit in that you will manage donations, finances for project resources, Agendas and Minutes for Research Meetings.
