Employment Type: Temporary, Full-time (up to 12 months maternity leave relief)
Role Classification: Clerk Grade 11/12
Remuneration: $128,473 -$148,578 pa (plus superannuation and annual leave loading)
Hours per Week: 35

About this role 
The Principal Advisor provides strategic expert advice to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer (CNMO) on all matters relating to aboriginal nursing and midwifery and leads strategies to increase and sustain the Aboriginal nursing and midwifery workforce. A key component of the role is to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Where you'll be working
The role is located in St. Leonard. The NaMO team has a unique role in engaging with the NSW Health system.  The right person will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a small team, showing flexibility and initiative to achieve outcomes for the State.

What you'll be doing
Day to day work involves engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, planning and progressing a number of strategic projects, researching and providing advice, writing briefs and responses (sometimes with very tight timelines) and managing the financial aspects of the portfolio.
