.About the CompanyWith three decades of experience in the industry, this business is well established in the Canberra market but provides services all across Australia. They work in the commercial space, providing equipment to the hospitality sector related to water filtration systems, beverage dispensing, food chilling & heating, display systems and more. About the roleAs our Office Manager you would work out of the local office and oversee all the business operations. The company directors are firmly placed in the business and love being on the tools. The business administration and operations roles are not areas that the Directors love to do so they are looking to bring in an Office manager to handle these functions.You would oversee the administrators and scheduling functions, based in the office as well as managed the work loads for up to 7 technicians who hail from electrical and HVAC backgrounds. You would drive the business to new levels by ensuring all opportunities are maximised. You would oversee the contractual agreements with the clientele who are national and international brands. Some clients require work orders to be lodged through there own portals so there is a high level of compliance required.Your focus would include managing the administrative functions, team culture as well as assist with recruitment and retention, reporting and compliance, OH&S and training, client liaison and management and human resource management.About youYou would have strong business management skills and display loyalty and tenure with your previous employers. You may have come from the Electrical or HVAC industries and have a good understanding of service, maintenance and repairs of hospitality equipment.Alternatively you may come from a Sales & Marketing background, perhaps having completed you MBA and wanting to utilise your knowledge in a Management capacity.
