An exciting opportunity exists for an Undergraduate Student in Nursing (USIN) to assist with the provision of person centred nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM).The Undergraduate Student in Nursing and Midwifery reports to the Nurse Manager.Live, work and play on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Join an expanding Health Service with a culture of innovation, education, training and research, with facilities across the Sunshine Coast including the new University Hospital at Birtinya.Key Responsibilities include: Contribute to positive patient outcomes by undertaking tasks that support nursing care activity as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM).Take responsibility for working within the scope of the USIN role as determined by the Health Service.Take responsibility for effective and timely communication with members of the team, patients and their carers.Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development and ensure that skills and knowledge relating to work remain current.Participate in Performance and Development Plans (PDP) to facilitate practice and professional development. Salary rates: $36.49 – $36.98 p.h (Nurse Grade 2) (multiple casual positions) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
