>Symonston ACTGeoscience Australia are recruiting for two manager positions in Human Resources.Manager, Human Resources StrategyAs Manager, Human Resources Strategy you will lead and manage a team in the design, development and implementation of organisational programs, initiatives, plans and strategies to attract, develop, mobilise and retain talented and capable people to deliver on our organisation’s strategic plan, Strategy 2028. The team has primary responsibility for workforce planning and design, workforce reporting and analytics, reward and recognition, learning and development and broader strategic projects. The team works in collaboration with other areas of human resources to achieve the objectives of our strategies and address areas of workforce risk. Manager, Diversity and InclusionAs Manager, Diversity and Inclusion you will lead and manage a team in the design, development and implementation of organisational programs, initiatives, policies and strategies to promote diversity and foster our inclusive culture. The team works in collaboration with other areas of human resources and in partnership with the organisation to achieve the objectives of our diversity and inclusion strategies and plans which support the delivery of Strategy 2028. The key duties of the position include:Manager, Human Resources Strategyprovide expertise and strategic advice across a broad range of human resources functionsdevelop and implement work plans aligned with human resources strategies and the section planpartner with the business to lead workforce planning activities and implement strategic initiativeslead the delivery of people strategies or plans driven by evidence and aligned by organisational goals lead the delivery of tailored organisational learning and developmentlead the delivery of workforce reporting and analyticslead the delivery of reward and recognition events and awardsnegotiate and manage contracts for suppliers for learning management systemsact as a product owner for internal systems that support reward and recognition processesmanage a budget for the delivery of human resources strategy functionsmanage the performance and development or human resources staffcontribute to continuous improvement of all procedures, processes and functions within the team.Manager, Diversity and Inclusion provide expertise and strategic advice across a broad range of human resources functionsdevelop and implement work plans aligned with human resources strategies and the section plandrive an inclusive culture by changing peoples’ beliefs, values and behaviours lead the delivery of organisational change and communication activitiespartner with leaders, managers and staff networks to implement diversity and inclusion strategies and planslead the evaluation and continuous improvement of diversity inclusion strategies and plans driven by evidence and aligned with organisational values and goals lead the development of our application for Silver accreditation with the Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) Programact as Implementation Leader to support our Chief Executive Officer in their membership with the Champions of Change Coalitionrepresent the organisation in its membership with external diversity networks and organisationsmanage a budget for the delivery of diversity and inclusion functionsmanage the performance and development of human resources staffcontribute to continuous improvement of all procedures, processes and functions within the team.EligibilityTo be eligible for this position you must be an Australian Citizen at the closing date of application.The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline level security clearance or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.Commencement of employment is subject to the successful applicant undergoing and satisfying a police history check.Diversity: Geoscience Australia values diversity in gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation and cultural background.
