Our Seven Mile Beach Resort currently has an opportunity for an experienced hands on Maintenance Supervisor to join the team!How You’ll ShineWith the direction of the General Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, co-ordinating and completing the day to day operation of the Maintenance department.You will be required to maintain a high standard with all areas of unit repairs, external property and resort common area maintenance.In addition, you will be required to maintain up to date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories and fire safety records and associated department related paperworkHow You’ll Be RewardedBuild your career with a value driven organisation that promotes continual growth and development for its people. Some of our many benefits on offer include:Professional development fundingDiscounted Hotel & Resort stays globallySubsidised Private Health InsuranceWhat You’ll BringThis is a hands on position and therefore you will be able to demonstrate the following;Previous experience in a supervisory role is essentialDemonstrated high level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building and pool maintenance)Experience in Strata property management properties, holiday letting pools and care taking agreements will be highly regardedExperience with Hotel/Resort refurbishment highly regardedCurrent First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handlingResults orientated, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and use initiativeEffective negotiation and problem solving skillsProven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in Strata ownership operationsAbility to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periodsAbility to maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records and preparation of monthly reportsTrade qualification desirableCurrent drivers licenseWhere You’ll Begin Your JourneyJust a quick, scenic drive from Hobart International Airport, our Ramada Resort Seven Mile Beach hotel is an eco-friendly resort with picturesque natural surroundings.
