>Adelaide SA, Albury NSW, Box Hill VIC, Brisbane QLD, Canberra ACT, Wollongong NSW, Chermside QLD, Dandenong VIC, Gosford NSW, Hobart TAS, Melbourne VIC, Moonee Ponds VIC, Newcastle NSW, Parramatta NSW, Penrith NSW, Perth WA, Upper Mount Gravatt QLDThe key duties of the position include:As an Assistant Commissioner in Service Delivery you’ll have a strong client focus and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure future client interactions are connected and aligned across the ATO, focused on adding value and improving the overall client experience.As an Assistant Commissioner you may be responsible for driving innovative client focused transformations, leading the design and development of long term strategies, leading large organisation programs of work, leading large teams of staff delivering exceptional service to the community, and identifying opportunities to change the way we work to improve the experience for clients with the tax, super and business registration systems.You’ll be future focused and understand the needs of our clients. You will be able to collaborate and engage with stakeholders within and outside the ATO.You will be responsible for developing strategic responses to meet the needs of different client segments and contribute to the design and delivery of contemporary and innovative solutions ensuring they are fit for purpose.Our ideal candidatedemonstrates experience in leadership of a large service delivery workforce, or the delivery of programs and services to support client focused outcomeshas an understanding of Australia’s tax and superannuation systems and a passion for improving the way the ATO interacts with clientshas significant experience and a record of achievement in delivering organisational projectshas excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business representatives and government agencies to transform the client experience and deliver contemporary, professional and efficient outcomesis experienced in leading and managing in challenging, complex and fast-paced environmentsleads by example and strongly demonstrates the SES Leadership CapabilitiesWe offer a competitive total remuneration package (including allowances and superannuation) in the range of $230,246 to $266,374 per annum, depending on experience.EligibilityRedeployment register check – APSC Ref: SES2021-47 RecruitAbility applies to this vacancy.
