Exciting research opportunity in the field of Biomedical ScienceAcademic Level B – $100,764 pa – $119,343 paFixed Term, Full-time contract for 12 months The University of Canberra is a dynamic university with great ambition. The universities success in research and education has been internationally recognised, resulting in UC becoming the world’s fastest rising university (QS, 2019).We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the Rutar laboratory who will focus on various research projects that explore the molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of retinal degenerative disorders, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD).Operating under the Assistant Professor, the Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for driving various research projects, as well as the supervision of students enrolled on the project.To be successful in this role, you will show an interest in expanding your research knowledge and experience and are looking to grow in the field of Biomedical Science. A doctorate in the field of Biomedical Science an essential requirement. Specialisation in Vision Science is desirable but not essential.
