The role is responsible to ensure efficient maintenance of our client’s fleet of Sandvik Mining equipment, working on-site and in the workshop, on a roster ensuring a work life balance is maintained.Areas of responsibilityCarrying out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis work on all Sandvik Mining equipment.Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, time records.Adhering to all policies & procedures, especially EHS policiesYour profileYou have a qualification in a mechanical trade plus a minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience. Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment and previous experience with Sandvik equipment will be looked upon favorably.
