Act- Sales Executive

  The Opportunity Reporting to the State Sales Manager this key position will be accountable for providing a high level of professional service and field representation to the DIY and Trade segments via our reseller network. Working across a large territory (Canberra metro, Riverina and Southern NSW) you will focus on achieving ongoing commercial growth; strong field representation; and continuous improvement in customer relations using customer knowledge and consumer insight to leverage sales opportunities that deliver value. Responsibilities include: Meet with customers, drive sales opportunities and be the face of the Selleys brand; Build trust and credibility with customers by demonstrating sound brand and product knowledge; Manage your time effectively and plan ahead to maintain your customer visits and call cycles. To be successful: You will have a passion for sales and a genuine desire to help customers overcome challenges and achieve their goals. You will be motivated by developing a career with a market leader and be known for your ability to influence customer thinking and decisions. Ideally you can demonstrate: Experience in account management or B2B sales with big box retail, preferably within hardware; Ability to effectively manage customer relationships and build a strong rapport with stakeholders; Resilience and the ability to work autonomously; A driven, enthusiastic and positive work ethic; Availability to travel within your territory.
