Guests may choose to dine in our open plan fast paced restaurant, enjoy our leafy courtyard or have an intimate meal in the Library Bar. Bicicletta is also a popular option for group diners with two beautifully appointed private dining rooms and group dining menus available. We are currently seeking an experienced Full Time Demi Chef to join our busy and well established kitchen. The Role Assisting the Kitchen team to deliver dishes of the highest quality every service period Motivate, support and develop Chefs of a lower classification as well as the wider kitchen team Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety legislation and regulation Stock control and management Support with ordering About You You are passionate, hands on and committed. You are a quick thinker who understands the importance fostering a supportive culture of high achieving Chefs. You will also: Established Commis Chef ready for the next challenge or an up and coming Demi wanting to expand your culinary dexterity Possess a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) Background in Italian cuisine and experience with pizza ovens and dough making will be highly regarded Immaculate attention to detail and outstanding time management skills Genuine commitment to continuous improvement Unlimited Australian work rights with the ability to work a varied roster including weekends, public holidays, mornings and evenings.
