Your part in this journey will be to assist the National Business Manager in achieving the Sales and Marketing strategy for the business for the Salamanca Salmon Shop, ensuring a balanced approach to our ‘4 Ps’ (Our People, Our Planet, Our Product, and Our Performance).About the role:Based in Salamanca, the Tassal Salmon Shop is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead the team! This is an exciting opportunity with a focus on operational efficiencies to ensure the shop team achieve store targets and goals, as well as developing and maintaining strong business relationships with internal and external suppliers and the community. This role will assist in the management of the shop, while working closely with the Mobile Salmon Truck team. Flexible role, 32-40 hours per week – over a 7 day working roster.About you:You will be a positive, enthusiastic and approachable person with the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. You will be passionate with demonstrated experience in retail which will allow you to hit the ground running.Attributes for Success: Strong communication and leadership skills;Previous supervision experience; Minimum 3 years retail experience;Proven ability to train and develop staff;Proactive attitude;Proven solutions finder;Highly self-motivated, persuasive and passionate influencer of stakeholders;Commercial awareness;Strong planning and organisation skills; Desire to work in a hyper fast paced environment;Strong computer skills;Pride in going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations;Ability to commute to our various work locations and help out on our salmon truck on an ad-hoc basis;Ability to work around a 7 day rotating roster;Ability to learn all aspects of the business and provide support to National Business Manager;Assist in coordinating WHS requirements; andShare the Tassal Vision.
