    About the Facility and Unit

  • 550 bed facility providing services across Cardiac, Neuro, burn, Paediatrics, Neonatal, and high risk OB, ED and Mental Health
  • Modern centre that has recently completed major renovations – Several inpatient and outpatient areas associated Mental Health Services
  • Opportunities to rotate within the mental health service to other similar units and gain interesting experience
  • The collaborative team includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational therapists, Registrar’s, Social Worker’s, Speech pathologists, and admin support

  • About You

  • At least two years current experience in a mental health setting
  • Mental health qualification from an Australian university, or equivalent qualifications recognised from the UK, Ireland, Canada, or New Zealand
  • A post graduate degree or diploma in mental health, alcohol and other drugs or forensics
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and ability to be adaptive
  • Experience with severe mental health cases is essential
  • Comfortable operating on a floor managed by a Nurse Unit Manager
