4 volunteer roles available Volunteer for our Bingo program Located in the Central Coast Volunteering offers a valuable opportunity to connect & make a difference the local community within our services. Volunteering at the Y Volunteers have been the backbone of the YMCA since we opened our doors over 160 years ago. Today, hundreds of volunteers donate their time and talents to help support our mission; connecting people to their communities to live healthier, happier lives. It is important to us that our volunteers have rewarding experiences in their work, with access to training, development and connection to their community – not to mention the fantastic feeling that comes with making a difference in the lives of others. The successful candidate will be available to commit to volunteering as a long-term commitment. We are looking for someone who has various availabilities over the 7 days of the week between 10:00AM – 3:00PM and 7:00PM – 9:30PM. Volunteering is a unique opportunity to contribute to your community within our recreation sites in a way that is meaningful to both yourself and to the wider community. Whatever your reason for volunteering, we aspire to have all of our volunteers benefit from their experience as much as our communities benefit from their service. To be a volunteer you will need to: Complete a Working with Children Check. As a volunteer, you’re Working with Children Check will be free of cost. Complete a National police check (International if required) paid for by the Y Ability and willingness to comply with YMCA NSW Child Protection Policies & Procedures About Y NSW Bingo Our Y NSW Cash Housie Bingo Programs operate from 5 different locations on the Central Coast. Operating for over 30 years, Y NSW Bingo profits go towards supporting Central Coast young people with funds raised going towards operating our Street gym and Breakfast Club.
