About theOpportunity: Due to these exciting developments a new role as a SeniorAdviser in the PPP Contract Administration team has becomeavailable. Reporting to the Assistant Director, ContractingServices, the PPP Contract Administration Team will assist tosupport end to end Contract Management for 8 PPP Schools. The position applies contract, operational, and risk managementprinciples and strategies in a highly complex, dynamic andsensitive operating environment across the PPP1 and PPP2 projectagreements and in conjunction with the PPP Contract AdministrationTeam. Interacting with external stakeholders and buildingrelationships internally is of paramount importance to achievingthe successful delivery of these projects. The Senior Adviser will utilise highly effective communicationskills to provide high level strategic advice to ensure contractualcondition and obligations as outlined in the project agreements,and relevant policies and procedures of the department and SAGovernment are met. The position plays a pivotal role in leadingthe development and implementation of procedures and systems tosupport PPP school leadership, facility managers and private sectorrepresentatives to accurately interpret and achieve contractualobligations. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check(WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewedevery five years before expiry. A current DHS child-relatedemployment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires.The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding to Abuse& Neglect (RAN) full day/online training course every threeyears. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the RoleDescription.
