Hours per week: 38 hours per week

Salary: $113,404.90

Position Summary:
A vacancy exists in the Endoscopy Suites for a highly motivated Registered Nurse for the role of Nursing Unit Manager with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive Nursing team. St Vincent's Hospital is a major tertiary referral centre and has a busy Endoscopy Suite which cares for patients undertaking Endoscopy Procedures, including but not limited to Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound and ERCP procedures.Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant will be expected to be proficient in Resource Management, Goods and Services and Personnel, and to work day shift Monday to Friday.

Selection Criteria

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2.Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
3.Demonstrated evidence of Operational Management and/or Resource Management in a Hospital Setting
4.Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking
5.Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team
6.Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment
7.Demonstrated Post Graduate qualifications in Management, or working towards.
8.Experience in Endoscopy or a Clinical Procedural Area
