We are looking for innovative and forward thinking professionals to support the delivery of strategic and operational HR functions for the department.About the teamPeople Branch sits within the department’s Corporate and Digital Division and is responsible for strategic and operational focussed HR advice and services, to support business areas in meeting their workforce needs.As an Assistant Manager in the Branch, you will:Lead a multi-functional team in a high profile, fast paced environment.Provide professional advice and build strategic relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to the department.Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the branch and the department’s corporate agenda.Contribute to the development of frameworks, policies and strategies and leading the delivery of key actions to support the HR function of the department, including:Capability and Talent ManagementInclusionHealth, Safety and WellbeingEmployee case managementCode of Conduct and Review of ActionRecruitmentWorkforce PlanningEmployment ProgramsEmployee Relations and Conditions.
