Founded in 1958 to support young people experiencing disadvantage, we now extend this expertise to people of all ages.SYC seeks to employ a Talent and Recruitment Consultant who will report directly to the Human Resources Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting SYC’s people leaders to identify and attract talent to the organisation and use varied strategies and mediums to maximise every hiring opportunity.You will be working collaboratively with the Talent and Recruitment Officer and the Human Resources Team providing support, education, mentoring and training to deliver the organisational recruitment team objectives.Key responsibilities: Develop and execute an end to end talent acquisition strategyIdentify and understand current and future business needs ensuring proactive sourcing and hiring for anticipated demand.Proactively engage and partner with internal managers to determine the most relevant approaches to meet their hiring needs.Build and maintain talent pipelines and pools to ensure candidates remain engaged for current or potential future opportunitiesEnsure continual improvement is achieved, and internal and external metrics are used to guide talent acquisition strategies.Provides best practice, talent attraction process including screening and selection of applicants, including testing and reference checking.Ensuring SYC delivers a quality candidate experienceSupport People Operations management in the development and delivery of Talent Acquisition related projects. Key requirements: Tertiary qualifications ideally in Human Resources is highly desirablePrevious Talent Acquisition or experienced in full life-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding is essentialExperience in the facilitation of high-volume recruitment campaigns is highly desirableDemonstrated understanding of varied candidate attraction/sourcing methodologiesWell-developed understanding of selection methods and techniques and recruitment best practiceProven experience in building trusting relationships and collaborating successfully with a variety of key stakeholders You will also demonstrate honesty, integrity a high level of confidentially whilst maintaining stable performance and workplace morale.A fantastic opportunity for an adaptable and passionate Talent and Recruitment professional who will possess strong alignment with the organisations core business values.This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package on offer which includes full salary sacrificing benefits.
