Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is seeking Assistants in Nursing to work in the medical and surgical units. There are permanent full time and permanent part time positions available.

Where you'll be working

RNSH is a  principal tertiary referral centre. It is close to the CBD and transport facilities, accommodation, recreational and childcare facilities are available. Specialities include: Surgery, Medicine, Women’s & Children’s Health, Critical Care Services – ED State Trauma Centre, Operating Theatres, ICU General, Neurology/Neuroscience and Cardiology. State referral for Burns/Plastics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Interventional Neuroradiology and Acute Spinal Cord Injuries.

What you'll be doing The NSLHD Nursing and Midwifery Workforce will be compassionate, competent, confident, contemporary, capable and committed to leading person-centred health care.
Provision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients.   Employment Type: Permanent Full Time and Part Time

Remuneration: $23.33 – $25.60 per week

2. Currently studying Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate or completion of HLT32507 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
3. Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
5. Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
