Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking dynamic Nurse Unit Managers to join our COVID19 Vaccination Program team at Sydney Olympic Park!

Do you have current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)?

Do you have experience in rostering; managing skill mix and care delivery models according to patient/service need?

Would you like to be part of the COVID19 response and involved in the  NSW Health Mass Vaccination Program?

The Nursing Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing/ staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and nursing and or midwifery excellence at unit/ward level.

To be eligible for this position applicants must have…

• Recent nursing management experience in an acute clinical setting.

• The ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster. Shift times are 0730-1600 or 1130-2000. Opening hours of the mass vaccination program are 0800-2000.
• The ability to be flexible and available to work all shifts to support the vaccination centre opening hours.

This is a Category A position. To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2020_017)
