A HR ADVISOR position has become available with a commercial client based in the Adelaide CBD. The key function of this role is to provide specialist advice and support to relevant stakeholders and partners within the organisation regarding key people management processes and policies in an effort to uplift workplace culture and employee relations. What you’ll need to succeed:We are seeking a true HR professional with a proven track record as an HR Generalist preferably, underpinned by a tertiary qualification in Business/HR and or equivalent.You will offer solid experience at an HR Advisor where you have achieved outstanding results due to your skillset in providing sound advice and operational input.You will need strong working knowledge of the ER/IR legislative framework and experience displaying exceptional influencing and relationship building skills. You showcase a demonstrated ability to engage and win stakeholders to execute new HR initiatives, concepts and projects.You display a knack for translating HR concepts within different levels and types utilising a language that is understood at both office and senior management level.You can gain ‘buy in’ to initiatives and you can bring people along on the journeyYou will offer a practical, service-driven, resilient style with a high level of maturity and a grounded approach. Your presence and actions will inspire confidence with the stakeholders with whom you work with.You can weigh up risks and consequences to make sound commercial decisions or escalate matters appropriatelyYou will thrive and perform best in a fast-moving organisation.Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing user friendly and contemporary HR processes and procedures that translate to work practices through the training, development and support of our leaders so that the employee experience of our people is a positive and fulfilling one.Experience with Tribunals (Workers Compensation and Fair Work Commission) will be well regarded. Current National Police Clearance is a requirement of this position. The Role: Maintain, develop and implement policies as per legislative and company standards.Be approachable and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersLead the recruitment and selection process including workforce and succession planning strategies.Provide strategic leadership and operational management with regards to people and performance.Develop and implement Human Resources projects to enhance employee wellbeingConduct workplace investigations and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.Ensure Standard Business Sponsorship requirements are met for a variety of skilled visas.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and agreements.Manage and document workers compensation claims.
