The right person will ideally have experience in a range of business development and marketing disciplines with proven leadership skills and the ability to develop strong partnerships and stakeholder relationships. We are looking for someone who has a genuine enthusiasm for business development and marketing, who is pro-active and organised, with maturity and initiative. This is a busy role across 5 offices and a multitude of practice areas and industries meaning that task management ability is essential. You will be working primarily with another Marketing Executive and a Marketing grad/ administrator reporting to the Chief Operating Officer with regular input from the Directors. As such you will apportion responsibility for certain practice areas and campaigns amongst yourselves. You will be responsible for ensuring high level support including: Develop, and implement all marketing activities and strategies in conjunction with one other Marketing Executive and the Chief Operating Officer, with accountability and rationale for your work; Prepare and analyse marketing data to shape business development strategies; Build the company’s brand and profile through strategic partnerships and business development activities; Manage and oversee media and advertising activities across all of our offices in Western Australia; Manage and evaluate sponsorship and membership opportunities across Western Australia; Coordinate award and tender submissions; Coordinate marketing collateral such as brochures and flyers (a good understanding of design and branding concepts will be beneficial); Develop and execute in-house and external events including a series of young professional and charity events; Coordinate BD and CPD events in our various offices; Manage internal and external communications including social media scheduling and e-newsletters; Assist all legal teams with tailored business development and marketing plans, driving through to execution; Work and mentor individual solicitors to help develop their BD skills, their practice and business plans; Liaise with external agencies such as the firm’s SEO consultants, PR agents and other advisers; Liaise with various media sources and prepare briefs accordingly; Manage and launch mobile app and website projects; and Manage and maintain CRM software (Experience with Active Campaign is desired but not essential). To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the following: Proven organisational skills – if you are not organised, you will struggle in this very busy but rewarding environment; Relevant qualifications in Marketing and Communications; Demonstrable experience in developing networks and building internal/external stakeholder relationships; Experience in strategic marketing and communications; Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills; The ability to work under pressure; work autonomously; take initiative; be proactive; be flexible and have an enthusiastic approach to all tasks; Experience with website content management systems (preferably WordPress) Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; Strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO concepts; Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Ads; Event management experience including briefing suppliers and managing budgets; The ability to manage and deliver projects on time, including the ability to set and meet deadlines, as well as managing expectations; High professional standards, attention to detail and attitude; A passionate work ethic; and Experience with inbound marketing concepts is desired but not essential. 4+ years’ experience in professional services/B2B environment will be viewed favourably.
