Field Service Fitter – Launceston

In this role, your key focus will be to provide preventative and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of Hitachi Construction and Mining equipment mainly in the North of the state. Responsibilities include: Performing onsite repairs on a wide range of equipmentAttending to site breakdowns state-wide.Undertaking diagnostic workLiaising with a network of customers within the territory, whilst building strong relationshipsWorking with internal technical support staff to achieve successful maintenance outcomes To be successful in this role you will: Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within – safety takes priority over everything elseHold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualificationsHave experience, knowledge and understanding of civil and mining equipmentHave a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously within remote areasHave good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationshipsHave great technical knowledge and diagnostic ability (excellent technical knowledge of Hitachi quarry & mining equipment would be highly advantageous)Proven ability to work autonomously and be competent in making decisions to support both our clients and our business.Have at least 4 years proven post trade field service experience Benefits Work with a global leader and make a big difference in a company that stands in its own right.
