About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Human Resource Advisor to join Iluka’s People team, based at the Jacinth-Ambrosia Mine site.Reporting directly to the Manager People Partnering, the main responsibilities of this role include:Provision of site HR advice and services including for recruitment, performance management and development, employee relations and change management to support the Jacinth-Ambrosia site operations to deliver business objectives;Actively maintains knowledge of Iluka’s People Standards, Procedures and Guidelines and relevant Enterprise Agreements to ensure consistent application;Develops and maintains professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality and cost-effective servicesProvides support for the successful recruitment of professional, technical and skilled employees by managing and participating in the recruitment process;Maintains all employee records, meeting statutory requirements and fulfilling company reporting requirements.Mitigates employee issues and grievances by providing interpretations and advice to managers and employees.Participates as part of a broader professional HR team by personally contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery, providing support and feedback and learning by seeking and receiving feedback.About YouTo be successful for this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in human resource related-fieldsExperience in human resources and/or other related roles, with mining and/or operational focus;Confidence and ability to develop constructive working relationships with employees and managers;Confidence and ability to directly influence internal stakeholders to strengthen people management performance;Strong knowledge of human resources and employee relations legislation and practices;A high standard of written and verbal communications skills;Strong attention to detail and organisational skillsIt is also expected that you will possess a broad understanding of mining and minerals processing, a proven ability to set goals and work to them independently, to a high standard, coupled with broad knowledge of people related issues facing the extractives industry.This position is located on our operational site 800km from Adelaide on a 4/3 roster. Travel is FIFO with onsite camp based accommodation provided.
