Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Recruiter / Senior Recruiter who is consultative and innovative to join our Mining & Minerals business. This role will be based in our Perth CBD office on contract.Reporting to Senior Resourcing Manager – APAC as part of a collaborative Resourcing team, you will take ownership of full life cycle recruitment process for Wood’s Mining & Minerals business, advising hiring managers on the most effective and efficient approach to filling current and future requirements across corporate and project roles. As a trusted advisor to hiring managers, business leaders and candidates alike, you will be the focal point for vacancy & candidate management, sourcing (including talent pipelining and talent pooling) screening and interviewing ensuring the successful engagement of the right talent, at the right place at the right time.In addition, your proven customer service approach to stakeholder management (internal and external) will enable you to facilitate a robust recruitment process at pace while delivering a seamless candidate experience.At Wood you will thrive in a collegiate team culture by partnering with likeminded, agile industry peers to inspire with ingenuity and create new possibilities… Skills / Qualifications Suitably qualified in business, human resources (or related field), ideally you have 5+ years’ experience in full lifecycle recruiting and talent acquisition in a similar internal role, working directly for an EPCM / Engineering firm within white-collar Mining / Construction / Oil & Gas market sectors. External agency experience would be an asset but is not essential.You must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this role.In addition, you will also have:professional presentation with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) including facilitating interviews / meetings proven experience consulting with hiring managers and leveraging relevant recruitment experience to influence hiring decisionsproven experience in all recruiting lifecycle components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, interviewing, assessing, offer negotiation, and closingproficiency in utilising an Applicant Tracking System for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates along with Microsoft suiteability to work under pressure when necessary, while still delivering within a challenging and complex environmenta “solutions mindset” and able to manage varying tasks with often changing and competing prioritiesWhat will set you apart will be your blend of relevant experience across both talent acquisition and recruitment, with an ability to successfully manage search and reactive assignments simultaneously.
