ABOUT THE ROLE!In this role, you be directly working with a professional Culinary team and contributing to world class events. This is a varied, busy and fun hospitality role and there is plenty of scope to meet wonderful people and gain experience in the hospitality and event industry. Key responsibilities of this role include: Daily responsibilities can range from food preparation, cleaning the kitchens after use, assisting in the clean-up of events, putting cutlery, utensils and crockery through the washing process and returning all cleaned items to the storage areas ready for use.About the roster and hours of work:This is a casual position, with no set shifts or weekly hours. Rosters are determined by the events in house and the availability of team members. However, we are specifically looking for people who can work a variety of shifts throughout the week, including mornings, days, nights and weekends.ABOUT YOU!To be a successful Kitchen Services Attendant at the GCCEC you must possess a positive and professional attitude, good communication skills and a team spirit. You need to be able to follow instructions, work quickly and always remain calm and confident under pressure. Physical fitness and good personal grooming and hygiene are also essential requirements of this role. Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, however consideration will also be given to those who have worked in the hospitality or fast food industry in other hands-on operational roles.
