Department for Health and Wellbeing, Corporate and System Support Services Procurement and Supply Chain ManagementSalary: $101,859 to $110,107 – ASO7Salary: $120,467 to $120,467 – MAS3Full Time Ongoing Permanent OverviewThe Principal Category Manager is responsible for managing sourcing and contract management activities related to a designated category to ensure value for money is realised, contracts deliver the required outcomes and risks are appropriately managed across SA Health through the procurement process.The Head of a Procurement team is accountable to the Director and is responsible for leading a team of category and contract managers responsible for the entire lifecycle of designated across SA Health segments of SA Health expenditure relating to services. This includes all sourcing and contract management activities related to the designated categories to ensure value for money is realised, contracts deliver the required outcomes and risks are appropriately managed across SA Health through the procurement process The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
