In Busselton we are hiring Support Workers to work in Accommodation. As a Support Worker you will provide support to customers in daily living skills, personal care, health and hygiene, medication administration, maintaining the customer’s home environment, supporting social interaction, recreational opportunities and employment options. This is a dynamic role with no day the same. Training is provided therefore we are looking for people keen to support others live the life they choose. We will in turn support you develop skills on the job that you can use in your career. 

About you

Be passionate about providing service and assistance in your community
Willing to work between 20-38 hours per week
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration or willingness to train in this area
Willingness to assist with personal care (showering, toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)
Already hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS worker’s screen. For more information, visit - NDIS worker screen check
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and receive booster shots at the required intervals
WA drivers licence and a willingness to use your private vehicle (rebates available)

What we offer

We offer above award rates depending on your skills and experience. The below rates will also attract afternoon and nightshift loading and weekend rates where applicable.

Level Description Starting Rate
Level 1 New to the industry with less than 6 months experience and no qualification $24.99
Level 2 2 years experience or more and actively working towards their Certificate III or Employees with a Certificate III or higher will start at this level $29.32
Level 2 Employees with relevant Certificate IV or higher qualification will start at this level $30.23
