Job Description
Key requirements for the position include:
• Hands on leadership style, with experience in multiple hospitality operations
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work duties to meet deadlines
• Ability to think on your feet and be an effective problem solver
• Have the ability to effectively communicate with clients, members, staff and suppliers
• Ensure the team is providing a consistent, high standard of customer service
• Ability to train and develop staff members
• Assist with reservation enquiries
• Demonstrate high level of responsibility and ownership
To be successful in this position you must have:
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• RSA certificate
• Be a natural leader, driven towards positive outcomes

Blond Catering (http://blondcatering.com.au/blond-cyca/) is the in-house caterer for the prestigious Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (https://cyca.com.au/). This venue is 2 levels, with the first level (on the water) being a bar and bistro and the second level being used for exclusive venue space for private events. We are located in Darling Point- approximately 10mins drive from CBD. The nearest train station is only an 8mins walk and there is a bus stop right out the front.
We operate 365 days a year, with our peak time being October through to January. These roles we are seeking to fill will need to have strong availability, including both Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and our biggest day of the year – Boxing Day.
