Job Description
Blond Catering is looking for an energetic Office Admin Assistant to join our busy team at the prestigious Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. Experience in a high-volume environment is essential, as is a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
This position would be highly suitable for someone who wants an introductory position the organisational side of restaurant and/or event management.
Key requirements for the position include:
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work duties to meet deadlines
Computer literate (outlook, office 365, word, powerpoint etc)
Professional phone etiquette with a friendly disposition
Ability to think on your feet and be an effective problem solver
Providing a positive guest/member experience with a positive attitude
Have the ability to effectively communicate with clients, members, staff and suppliers
Providing a consistent, high standard of customer service
Previous experience in a similar hospitality position (highly desirable)

Blond Catering (http://blondcatering.com.au/blond-cyca/) is the in-house caterer for the prestigious Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (https://cyca.com.au/). This venue is 2 levels, with the first level (on the water) being a bar and bistro and the second level being used for exclusive venue space for private events. We are located in Darling Point- approximately 10mins drive from CBD. The nearest train station is only an 8mins walk and there is a bus stop right out the front.
We operate 365 days a year, with our peak time being October through to January. These roles we are seeking to fill will need to have strong availability, including both Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and our biggest day of the year – Boxing Day.
