Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sound and timely business decisions to drive short term and long-term performance.
  • Provide team operational management in implementing presales support, quality assurance, training and the execution of the sales management system.
  • Ensures that direct reports follow established policies and procedures in carrying out their daily activities.
  • Improve sales performance by identifying and reporting areas for improvement in current processes.
  • Supervises support and administrative employees in the functional area.
  • Ensure that systems and data is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Track sales metrics and manage accuracy, providing related reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide sales process management support to sales teams.
  • Assist with opportunity/pipeline management and forecasting, predictive analytics and provide sales intelligence information.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and benchmark external data to assist with the development of compensation plans.
  • Executes audits on technology systems as required from time to time.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Attributes :

  • An understanding of the vast range of IT operations and NTT service offerings
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • Operational team management and leadership skills and able to effectively manage the resources that report to them
  • Good collaboration skills and able to interact professionally
  • Relationship skills and knowledge of the client environment
  • Analytical in approach with good attention to detail
  • Understanding of the local sales environment and ability to grasp the challenges facing the sales force
  • Ability to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Good understanding of solution selling concepts and solid knowledge on sales process design
  • Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant certifications
  • Required Experience:

  • Some relevant experience in similar role within a related environment
  • Previous experience operationally managing a sales operations / effectiveness team
  • Good experience dealing with stakeholders at various levels in the organisation
  • Previous experience in the sales operations / effectiveness team management role
  • Operational and tactical planning experience
