This full-time role will see you work on preliminary site assessments, detailed site assessments, groundwater hydrogeology, landfill assessments, risk assessment, contamination management and remediation.

The role can be based at either of our offices in Melbourne CBD, Geelong or Ballarat.

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Project management of simpler projects including co-ordination of internal resources, contractor management, budget management and client correspondence

  • Build strong relationships with clients and contributing to key business development activities.

  • Support and assist the delivery of contaminated land services in accordance with client expectation, project schedule and budgets.

  • Report writing, focused on presenting information appropriately and capturing good interpretation of technical data.

  • Assist in undertaking field and laboratory work such as sampling and testing. This role is predominantly a Project management and technical role, however some fieldwork will be required

  • Collaborating and working effectively within a team of technical specialists

  • Coaching and Mentoring of junior staff on field techniques, data analysis and reporting

  • Undertake additional work related training and demonstrate a willingness to pursue self-development for career advancement as required.

  • To be successful for this role you’ll need:

  • Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Chemistry or related field.

  • 4 – 6 years’ experience within the field of contaminated land assessment and/or environmental assessment and remediation.

  • Strong analytical, reporting and verbal communication skills.

  • A client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in team environments.

  • Valid/ current driver’s licence.
