ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role: An exciting opportunity has opened up for Assistant in Nursing (AIN’s) to join our team at Mercy Place Cairns (Bethlehem) in Westcourt.

  • Casual and part time available
  • Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care
  • Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information
  • ABOUT YOU:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (nursing students encouraged to apply)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in a team environment and report/document in line with requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care.
  • An ability to follow nursing procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans
