  • Fixed term for 2 years | Part-Time at FTE

  • Academic Level A| $79,828 – $96,742 pro rata.

    About the Role

    We are looking for a Research Associate to develop and pilot a peer-led mental health support program, in collaboration with the project team at Flinders University. As a Research Associate you will be responsible for project implementation, project management, project reporting and dissemination, as well as assistance in data collection as necessary. Offering new ideas to the project, you will review relevant literature and sources of information for the project team to achieve key project milestones. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will prepare external grant applications for the College and build professional relationships in order to improve research outputs and publications.

    About You

    To be successful as a Research Associate, you will demonstrate:

  • Completion of a PhD in a health-related field or significant progress towards completion of a PhD in a health-related field.

  • Research experience, including publication, presentations, and the use of qualitative research methodology at a national or international level.

  • High level interpersonal and collaboration skills, including in a team and with industry.

  • An ability to critically review literature and deliver projects to deadlines.

  • An understanding of the mental health sector.
