You will provide supervision, support, mentoring and guidance to the Princess Hill crew on their daily work tasks within National Park’s and other Parks and Reserves managed by the Princess Hill unit. This role works closely with the staff and assists the Ranger In Charge by reporting on tasks needing to be completed within the park and helping to develop work plans.

You’ll form invaluable professional relationships with Traditional Owners, various commonwealth and state agencies and stakeholders. As a successful Ranger working with the Fire Team, you will:

• Have a good understanding conservation and protected area management activities

• Have strong skills in program management across all aspects: planning, coordinating, implementing and reporting

• Have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to lead, mentor, and support your colleagues as required

• Effectively work collaboratively with other internal work groups, Traditional Owner stakeholders, and external agencies
