The team:

Advisian’s Environment and Society Business in ANZ comprises a diverse group of specialist consultants across a range of specialist areas. Our team is at the heart of the global energy transition and core to Worley’s global ambition of ‘delivering a more sustainable world’.

Purpose:

To support the environment and society service line with delivering offshore environmental approvals including Commonwealth and State Environment Plans and Offshore Project Proposals.

The role:

  • Advisian are seeking a Consultant to join the Offshore Environment Approvals Team.

  • You will have the opportunity to be part of a team of trusted consultants with growing portfolio of globally significant offshore energy projects.

  • In this position you will play a role in the delivery of environment plans and other environmental approvals for various offshore petroleum activities.

  • You will have the opportunity to participate in environmental hazard workshops, the delivery of environment plans and the deliver of offshore project proposals.

  • Core responsibilities will include project delivery and you will be expected to develop your project management and client relationship skills over time.

  • Flexible working arrangements, with part-time contracts and working from home available

  • Qualifying criteria:

  • Degree qualified in environmental management, environmental science, planning, environmental engineering or relevant disciplines.

  • 2 to 5 years experience in preparing Environment Plans for offshore petroleum activities. However, we will consider applicants with relevant experience outside of this range.

  • Have an understanding of fundamentals of Environmental Impact Assessment process, compliance and environmental risk management.

  • Enjoy writing and communicating clearly to a diversity of audiences.

  • Have strong professionalism and personal time management capabilities.
