About the role

:

  • Implementing operational systems and maintain high standards of service delivery, venue presentation, safety and security
  • Supervise the safe use of the facilities
  • Ensure daily booking and operational schedules are in working order
  • Customer complaint resolution
  • Leadership of a team of lifeguards
  • Rotating roster with approximately 1 weekend a month
  • Lead of customer experience
  • About You

    Client service is paramount in our day-to-day efforts, and you will work closely with your stakeholders to implement the use of the world class facilities located at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. 

    You must always act ethically and professionally, uphold, and promote the values aligned to the public sector. You will need to be able to plan, prioritise tasks for the team and individually aligning to the outlined tasks and changing priorities.

    Your ability to clearly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders is key to this role. You will need to possess an ability and commitment to customer service and be accountable for your actions, work within a team environment, follow safe work practices. You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of IT systems and have an ability to manage and develop people – and assist any team member to enhance their performance and skill set.

    Essential Requirements

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate including Advanced Resuscitation
  • Pool Lifeguard Qualifications recognised in NSW
  • Pool Operations Certificate or equivalent
  • A Working with Children Check is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012 .
