Work Your Way and be based at either Perth Western Australia or Melbourne Victoria. In order to service business hours in Perth, the working hours for the role will be either  9am to 5pm in Western Australia or 12pm to 8pm in Victoria .

As our next Conference & Events Coordinator, you will:

  • Liaise effectively between clients as well as internal departments in the lead up to, during and following their special event
  • Prepare, manage and execute event activities in line with client requirements and expectations
  • Continuously solve and respond to issues surrounding the event at hand in order to make the day as perfect as it can be
  • Organise equipment, contractors, assets, and people surrounding and contributing to the event
  • Handling telephone enquiries regarding functions and convert enquiries into firm bookings
  • Be an ambassador of the hotel and create a professional impression of the company at all times
  • What we are looking for:

  • Someone with prior event coordination and operational events experience who is looking to take the next step in taking more leadership in their role
  • A strong a marketing and strategic focus for a variety of events, gatherings, birthdays, and weddings
  • A hard worker with a can do attitude who has the ability to pick things up quickly
  • Impeccable attention to detail and time management skills with excellent communication and relationship management, both internal and external clients
  • The ability to work a varied roster including weekends and evenings as required by the business
  • Valid Australian Working rights
