Job Description

The role:

Based in Narangba, Queensland and operating statewide you are responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Your key objective is to ensure the business meets its profit targets through your ability to Identify, quantify, and execute on growth opportunities. Sharing these successes in a collaborative approach across the national Specialty Products team. The role entails the ownership of stock inventory management and tendering for local government supply contracts. With each facet delivered in line with Borals purpose, ambition and values.

Desired experience will include:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in a customer facing sales role
  • Packaged products sales experience desirable
  • Demonstrated record of delivering stretched targets
  • Established experience in compiling tenders to Local Government
  • Experience in contract administration
  • Experience in contract and commercial review
  • Proven and demonstrated ability to identify and deliver value improvement projects.
  • Experience in developing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Understanding of continuous improvement principles and methodology
  • Do you possess the following skills:

  • Year 12 HSC
  • Cert IV in business, sales or equivalent desirable
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively autonomous
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills ·
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Sound presentation skills ·
  • Sound IT skills across all Microsoft Office programs
  • General Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • Drivers Licence
  • The ability to interpret and quantify detailed documents and specifications
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communications
  • Ability to encourage & motivate teams by working collaboratively
