Data And Analytics Manager

At Macquarie, we support a hybrid working model.

Our BFS data and analytics team is looking for a self-motivated analytics manager, who will lead data delivery on transforming and scaling our business lending portfolio.

In this role, you will:

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap of high-value data initiatives to support business lending needs and credit transformation.

Lead a team of 1-2 junior analysts in dashboarding, storyboarding, and modelling processes.

Creatively use data and insights to uncover new opportunities, identify root causes and recommend solutions.

Collaborate with data ecosystem, including data engineers and data scientists, to deliver data pipelines and machine learning models.

Develop a strong relationship with a broad network of internal stakeholders and have a strong influence on business decisions.

To excel in this role, you will have:

Tertiary qualifications preferably in a quantitative subject such as engineering, mathematics, or finance.

At least 5 years of experience building data solutions for advanced analytics.

Strong knowledge of SQL with some Python/R exposure, and experience with production machine learning models will be viewed favourably.

Solid Experience with at least one data visualisation tool, such as Tableau or Power BI

Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders

Prior People management experience is ideal but not mandatory.
