About the role

 

The position works closely with the Health & Wellness leadership team and has a key role in providing strong leadership across the administration team ensuring high quality administrative services as well as developing and maintaining policy and procedures to support efficient service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to;

 

  • Providing strong leadership to staff to ensure a work culture that embeds individual
    performance, accountability and respectful working relationships with others
  • Ensuring a professional reception and customer service to clients, visitors and staff
  • Maintaining effective liaison with all other departments regarding administration
    services
  • Effectively supervising, guiding, supporting and training administration services staff
  • Attending regular staff and leadership meetings and ensuring all administration services staff are aware of outcomes
  • Ensuring all administration services staff follow the relevant policies, procedures and
    other regulated compliance requirements
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of financial administration duties and processes
  • Accurately maintaining relevant records related to administration services and auditing requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in collaboration
    with the Health & Wellness leadership team

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a complex administration role with a focus on providing client centred care as well as experience in the supervision and coordination of staff
  • Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills with a wide range of people
  • Strong customer service focus and commitment to meeting the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Intermediate or advanced computer skills using Google suite programs and proficiency in using in-house and other database and software applications
  • A basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards as are applicable to the role
