Administration Managers

Australian Government Department of Defence Canberra, Canberra

Job Description

The Role
Strategy, Policy, and Industry Group is seeking a number of Administrative Managers who want to use their leadership, administrative, and governance skills to contribute to key policy and national security functions to protect and further Australia’s national interests. The Administration Manager roles are spread across Strategy, Policy, and Industry Group. While these roles are highly varied, they all involve leading small teams and employing well-developed administration and governance skills to enable the Group to deliver national security objectives.

No two days would be the same – you might help conduct meetings to support and influence stakeholders, use your administrative and strategic nous to find better process solutions, help to prepare your Division Head for representation at Senate Estimates hearings, work closely with other parts of Defence to communicate corporate priorities to staff members, or contribute to corporate transformational change
