The Role

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a fantastic opportunity to further your career, and join an exciting and ever expanding business.

As the Personal Assistant to the CMO, CSO, CIO and CTO you will be responsible for providing high level and confidential administrative and management support.

The position requires you to be highly organised, discreet and mature with the ability to assess the urgency or otherwise of work allocated and/or situations and prioritise workload accordingly.

The Personal Assistant, whilst having a direct reporting line to the Executive Assistant will also provide support and assistance to other senior executives.

This role is responsible for scheduling meetings, organising travel and internal events, collating board papers and assisting with presentations. This role is responsible for providing a high level of assistance to the Executive Team and is often trusted with complex duties and sensitive information.

This support-office based position operates in a dynamic, fast paced environment as the business demands grow and change. This position places an emphasis on working collaboratively across all levels and functions within the business, as you ensure the smooth running of the office working on a one-to-one basis with the Executive team and all internal and external stakeholders.

This role is both internally and externally focused and requires a high degree of confidentiality as you will have access to an array of highly discreet and sensitive business information.

You will be a hardworking, dedicated, and loyal with a pleasant, easy-going personality that can take direction well and be proactive in meeting all business requirements, whilst always modelling and promoting Discovery Park’s values.

Your Experience

  • Several years previous work experience as a Personal Assistant is essential
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience managing internal stakeholder relationships at all levels, in particular with Executives
  • High level of proficiency in computer skills
  • Advanced user knowledge of MS Office suite, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Highly developed ability to accurately determine priorities, set clear expectations and meet agreed deadlines
  • Excellent Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in an environment of rapid change
  • Possess exceptional time management skills
