About the role
The Personal Assistant will work in close partnership with the Principal and as such the successful applicant will demonstrate outstanding levels of professionalism and discretion.
Duties and responsibilities
Diary management including forward planning on a yearly, term by term, weekly and daily basis Assisting with email management, as well preparing and drafting appropriate verbal and written responses both internally and externally, providing high level prioritisation and organisation Provide a welcoming experience for all who visit or telephone, whether they are internal or external visitors, including organisation of their visit as appropriate Support the management of specific work flows Ensure that communications meet the expectations of the School, including newsletter articles, letters and promotional material Coordinate events and projects under the direction of the School Leadership team Proactive approach to day to day duties and upcoming events Selection Criteria
Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and professional rapport at all times Service focused mindset Friendly and caring attitude towards students, parents and staff and the ability to deal maturely, sensitively and confidentially with difficult situations Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills Ability to effectively problem solve, work to deadlines and to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively, productively and communicate with staff at all levels Proficient in the use of MS Office and EDSAS Current Working with Children Check required Current First Aid qualification an advantage How to Apply
