We are currently recruiting for a Sales Leader for the Government & Military team to be based in either Melbourne or Brisbane.

As the Sales Leader for the Government & Military team in the Asia Pacific region, you will lead sales campaigns by advocating customer requirements, building customer relationships while ensuring quality campaigns to achieve Long Range Business Plan goals. You will also ensure strategic alignment with the customer, internal stakeholders along with regional and country objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading sales campaigns by advocating customer requirements, building customer relationships while ensuring quality campaigns to the benefit of the business;
  • Negotiating and finalizing commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers;
  • Crafts campaign specific strategies, procures resources and secures management commitment to ensure successful execution;
  • Establish a broad network of contacts and knowledge base to act as a broker of knowledge to multiple customer needs;
  • Developing customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and to foster business growth with acceptable margins;
  • Develop strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth with acceptable margins; Ensure strategic alignment with the customer, account management teams, the Long Range Business Plan along with regional and country objectives.

To be successful in this role you will need the following Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years aviation experience;
  • Technical degree in a related field of study preferred or equivalent experience ;
  • Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
