Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

As the Senior Maintenance Technician your duties can include (but not limited to):

Assisting in the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance requirements.

Assisting in the coordination of facility and plant maintenance requirements with internal and external providers.

Lead, develop and mentor a small team of trade and non-trades persons

Regulating the rosters to meet the requirements of the department.

Assisting with the installation of laundry equipment working with original equipment manufacturers.

Assisting in the coordination of departmental inventory and consumables within the department.

Assisting with other technical and administrative tasks as required.

About you:
To be successful as the Senior Service Technician, you will require:
Technical skills:

Tertiary or trade qualification in a mechanical field with relevant industry experience.

An electrical aptitude (preferred)

Ability to understand and articulate data from varying sources and to refer to senior management for decision making

Experience with developing and interpreting technical documentation and associated systems to achieve positive outcomes

Soft skills:

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders from a variety of background

Ability to lead and contribute effectively to improve team performance and enhance outcomes
