Responsibilities

As the Senior Maintenance Technician your duties can include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting in the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance requirements.
  • Assisting in the coordination of facility and plant maintenance requirements with internal and external providers.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a small team of trade and non-trades persons
  • Regulating the rosters to meet the requirements of the department.
  • Assisting with the installation of laundry equipment working with original equipment manufacturers.
  • Assisting in the coordination of departmental inventory and consumables within the department.
  • Assisting with other technical and administrative tasks as required.
  • About you:
    To be successful as the Senior Service Technician, you will require:
    Technical skills:

  • Tertiary or trade qualification in a mechanical field with relevant industry experience.
  • An electrical aptitude (preferred)
  • Ability to understand and articulate data from varying sources and to refer to senior management for decision making
  • Experience with developing and interpreting technical documentation and associated systems to achieve positive outcomes
  • Soft skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small high performing team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders from a variety of background
  • Ability to lead and contribute effectively to improve team performance and enhance outcomes
