Fleet And Maintenance Manager

Our client is a family-owned global business with over half a century of experience in mining, civil and earthmoving industries. Although they have operations all over the world, the current opportunity will see you FIFO from Darwin or Brisbane (but will consider other locations as well) into a regional Northern Territory mine site.

As the Maintenance and Fleet Manager, you will be overseeing internal employees as well as sub-contractors ensuring delivery to safe, quality standards, working towards the maintenance plan. This will suit someone with experience in:

• Open cut mines
• Mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
• Extensive post trade or relevant maintenance of plant and equipment experience in the mining environment
• Previous supervisory experience
• A strong commitment to health, safety, environment and the community
• The ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Strong work ethic, integrity and loyalty
• Proactive, solution focused approach
