Kitchen Assistant

You will be working in a state of the art internal kitchen facilities.

Your Role

This role is responsible for assisting the Head Chef, and Client Floor kitchen team, working evenings Monday to Thursdays from 4.30pm to 9.30pm, with occasional additional hours for events on pre-approval.

Your duties include:

  • Cleaning and polishing of all dishes, crockery, glassware, cutlery and kitchen utensils and equipment

  • Clean and maintain kitchen area, cold room, fridges, store room and to comply with health and safety standards

  • Undertake food purchases as required

  • Receive, check produce and unpack and store deliveries appropriately

  • Basic food preparation; including washing, chopping and storage

  • More About You

    We welcome applicants who have:

  • Up to 1 year experience as a kitchenhand

  • Ability to work professionally at all times in a fast paced, demanding environment

  • Knife skills and appropriate understanding of WHS

  • Must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia
