Position yourself at the AIS

The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) is Australia’s premier sports training institute, located approximately 7km from Canberra’s CBD. The AIS has produced outstanding results throughout the years, giving it an international reputation as a world’s best practice model for high performance athlete development. This versatile location boasts 11 event spaces, the athletes dining hall and AIS café operations.

We are seeking experienced Food and Beverage Allrounders to join us on a casual basis. You enjoy working in a busy environment with a close-knit team. This exciting role will see you work across various areas including the café, events and concessions.

You will have:

Strong food and beverage knowledge

Barista skills and Coffee skills preferred – but not necessary.

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience with cash handling and POS systems

Flexible and able to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including day and night shifts.

Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation

A working understanding of Food Safety Standards

Current RSA Required.
