The Role

About the role

The Marketing manager will provide leadership to the marketing team nationally. As our Marketing Manager, you will support and mentor an incredible team of marketing professionals who are responsible for their specific target markets and achieve the required KPI’s. 

Your professionalism, leadership, and desire to mentor marketing team, will place you in the perfect position to drive success of the organisation.

Main responsibilities for Marketing Manager includes:

  • Review marketing materials and authorize the use of all relevant marketing material.
  • Ensuring students are provided with required information prior to enrolment and the relevant marketing officer is doing the same.
  • Ensure that specific written permission is held for the use of any endorsement from an individual or organisation and the use of any photos of people or organisation premises.
  • Managing all recruitment agents profiles and maintaining the profiles currency and accuracy.
  • Liaise with recruitment agents regularly. 
  • Monitor the activity of recruitment agents
  • Administer agent agreements.
  • Authorise the use of the Nationally Approved Training Logo and any State or Territory recognition authority logo.
  • Reporting to General manager on activity each week
  • Follow the RTO policies and procedures
  • Implement Continuous Improvement and maintain the log
  • Training, and coordinating the ongoing development of marketing team
  • Liaise with students, support staff and other team members as required. 
  • Taking a leadership role in marketing team.
  • Managing day to day operations within the campus. 
  • Facilitating internal meetings; attending and representing the organisation at various industry and departmental meetings.
  • Providing expert marketing related advice to senior managers relating to the potential for quality improvement initiatives, target markets and schemes.
  • Complete associated administrative tasks.

Ideal Profile

Skills and experience include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years current professional experience in marketing (preferable).
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and RTO compliance requirements including the Standards for RTO’s (preferred)
  • Working knowledge and experience using Student Management System (or similar)
  • High-level computer literacy 
  • Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for leading, motivating, and supporting colleagues to achieve their professional goals!
